Maintenance of Hay Bed Overlays:
Vacuum-clean and hang out into sun a couple of times (approx. 2-4 hours). The bed will regenerate and recover its wounderful odour.
We recommend to leave open your bed after getting up in the morning for approximately half an hour.
Service life and effect af a Hay Bed Overlay:
The duration of the effect of the hay and herbs lasts about 2 to2,5 years, therefore we recommend a maximum service life of 2 to 3 years. But if you do not wish a healing effect the service life may be prolonged.
Are you able to chose the herbs yourself?
Yes, this is possible. We ask you to contact us.
Is it possible to refill a hay bed overlay?
Unfortunately this is not possible, because the margins would be shortened during processing and the overlay would become smaller. Furthermore the operating expenditure to separate all the seams, to exchange the content and to re-work would be higher than a new product.
How to avoid that sweat gets into the hay bed overlay?
On top of the overlay a sheep wool fleeze is worked in, to protect the herbs and the hay. Additionally your linen is placed on top of the overlay in your bed.
Hyper-active children:
Due to the calming effect of the hay and herbs, sucessful achievments could be booked also in this respect.
Our Hay Bed Overlays are also utilized in the theraphy for handicaped persons.
May Hay Bed Overlays also be used for asthmatics?

For persons allergic to hay dust and hay fever:
Hay fever is not a problem when using our Hay Bed Overlays. Hay fever allergic persons predominantly react to pollen in the period of bloom. Hay harvest is after the period of bloom, and additionally the hay is dedusted and purified prior to processing. Even persons, allergic to hay dust are sleeping without problems on our Hay Bed Overlay..
For persons having grass allergy we recommend to place a Hay Bed Overlay next to their bed for a trial period of one night. In case of non-compatibility you may return the unused Hay Bed Overlay (by experience such cases are very seldom).
